10 Subscribe-Worthy Email Newsletters That Always Land In My "Good Reads" Tab
Every single week, I receive a handful of newsletters to my inbox and I’m pretty crazy about maintaining inbox zero.
This means that the newsletters I stay subscribed to have been deemed worth it AND it means I have a filing system, so that all of my emails get read and organized accordingly.
I know a lot of people use a separate email account for the emails they subscribe to, but honestly I didn’t want another thing to manage, so I created a system that helps me filter all of my emails, so that every single one of them is either kept in its categorized folder OR it gets deleted.
Nothing sits in the main inbox – at least that’s the goal.
I don’t achieve this daily, but by Friday afternoon I try to make sure I’ve read everything from the week, filed it accordingly, responded to all messages that need my attention and then start fresh on Monday.
One of my favorite email folders is titled “Good Reads” and it never fails that almost every week the same newsletters get moved to this tab.
In case you’re in need of a few good reads of your own, I thought it was time to round up 10 of my absolute favorite newsletters that I’ve deemed subscribe-worthy!
10 Newsletters That Are Worth The Subscribe
An absolute favorite that I love to see in my inbox on Thursdays is Early Check-in from none other than my bestie, Nicole Burdick!
Nicole never fails to impress me with her incredible background in corporate marketing (I’m talking Delta, The Home Depot, and Spanx), which means she has the BEST brand and business tips, on top of being an amazing storyteller.
I always look forward to the brand and business tips delivered with engaging stories followed by a tailor made tip that makes everything super tangible!
If you follow me on Instagram, have read my blog, or are subscribed to Notes From Natty, there’s a good chance you’ve heard me mention Sara at BTL Copy before! She’s one of the first people I found in the early days of Natty Writes and I’ve learned (still do!) SO much from her.
I subscribed to Tuesday Table of Contents for the one marketing tip once a week, but I 100% stay for the stories. Sara is unfiltered and unashamed, but on top of the stories that always make me giggle, I also always know that I’ll want to save her newsletters to read when I have plenty of time to focus because I know I’m going to be taking notes.
Another Sarah that I LOVE to learn from is Sarah Burk – she’s my go-to for all things Pinterest Marketing, but not just because she’s knowledgeable about the platform.
While she 100% knows her stuff, the thing I love the most about learning from Sarah is that she takes a sustainable approach and makes sure that everything she teaches in her content is TRULY doable. It never feels like one of those “you have to hire me to see results” type of thing.
Even though I DID hire her and it was one of my favorite investments in 2023, prior to that, I was able to DIY my Pinterest and felt like I actually knew what I was doing thanks to all of her amazing tips.
Since blogs and Pinterest go together hand-in-hand, OF COURSE her Thursday Press newsletter has been deemed a favorite in my book, so if you’re looking to add Pinterest to your list of platforms, Sarah is 100% your girl.
Next up in the Sara(h) trio is Sarah Kleist. I first landed on her email list by opting into her genius To Done List Notion Template, but stayed for the brand and marketing advice.
What I love about Act Break is that Sarah keeps it short, simple, and to the point. Typically she tells a story or some sort of message that leads into her blog posts, which we knowwwww I love!
The Duo Collective are my go-to gals for all things SEO! Even though I’m a blog writer, I am not an SEO expert, which means I’m constantly learning all the things and they are the ones that I prefer to learn from.
What I love about the Duo is that they make SEO feel approachable – typically when you read or listen to things on this topic, it feels insanely techy and hard to understand. But the Duo? No way! They make it so that it’s easy to understand AND implement.
In addition to their Tips and Sips newsletter, they also send a quick SEO Squeeze every Friday that contains one actionable tip that you could literally implement right away, which I appreciate!
Katie is one of the very few that I follow on social media that makes it feel FUN – which really shouldn’t surprise anyone because it’s her literal job to teach people how to do the same!
Even though I actually outsource my social media management, I still learn a TON from Katie and am able to incorporate what she teaches into my own strategy.
Not only is her newsletter full of tips, she also has the CA-UTEST branding that I love to look at. 🎀
Shout out to one of my Writer’s Room girlies, Lorin, who took the leap and launched her newsletter earlier this year. I first met Lorin when I hosted Blogmas in December of 2023 and fell in LOVE with her writing style.
She has a way of writing insanely relatable anecdotes that seamlessly connect to her business and it always leaves me wowed!
In addition to her knowledge on branding and web design, Lorin has a passion for sustainable productivity and provides a ton of content about how you can incorporate that into your business.
Craving a breath of fresh air from all of the business or marketing tips that hit your inbox each week? So was I and Sarah Cait is the girl for the job!
In her newsletter, Choose, Sarah Cait shares stories and gestures that remind you to always choose the radiant, abundant life that God truly wants us to live.
Susie is a recent find for me, but as soon as I followed her on Instagram, I knew that I wanted to subscribe to her newsletter.
What I love about Talking Since Tuesday is that first – the reason it’s called that is because she was born on a Tuesday and, in her words, has been talking ever since; we LOVE a yapper and second – it’s one of the few newsletters I receive that isn’t directly related to her services or business.
It’s still full of stories and lessons, but the ultimate goal isn’t to drive you to sign up for or purchase something. Instead, she simply loves to write (my kinda girl!) and uses her newsletter as an outlet to do just that.
Lastly, but certainly not least, is The Round Up from Jessie Frasier of First Rodeo Creative, which is another “diary style” newsletter that I really enjoy reading.
I recently featured Jessie on the blog and aside from being extremely skilled in branding, messaging, and copywriting, she just has a cool vibe about her that’s hard not to love!
Oh and her podcast is becoming one of my favorite weekly listens, too. 🎙️
And there ya have it – 10 newsletters that always get moved into my “Good Reads” tab!
I’m curious – do you have any good reads of your own that I should know about? If so, send them my way!
