10 Binge-worthy Business and Marketing Blogs To Add To Your TBR List

As someone that writes blogs for a living, you can imagine how excited I get when I see other people blogging for their business. It makes me absolutely giddy and most of the time I’ll bookmark them or subscribe to their newsletter so that I never miss a post.

Recently, I’ve found myself reading the same ones every week, so I thought it was time I share the business blogs that have recently caught my eye that provide massive value so that you can benefit from them too!

Nicole and I started our friendship in the DM’s and we haven’t looked back. She quickly became one of my go-to gals anytime I needed to vent about anything in biz (or life!), but despite her being a real life bestie, I also highly admire her knowledge and approach to business!

Her corporate marketing experience makes her extremely credible and trustworthy and allows her to bring really interesting perspectives to the business world, but what I think I love even more? Her take on work / life integration and embracing the little luxuries of entrepreneurship.

If you’re looking for tips on branding, website design, or simply a fresh perspective for how to navigate entrepreneurship in a way that truly feels good, she’s your girl!

I’ve mentioned Sara from BTL a time or twenty between Instagram, my newsletter, and on my blog, so it should come as no surprise that her copy blog makes this list!

Sara is truly a wealth of knowledge for copywriting, but really business in general. Her newsletter is one of my favorites, but beyond that I truly can’t tell you how many times I’ve binged her blog.

It’s packed full of marketing advice that is ACTUALLY valuable, easy to implement, and super fun to read because Sara is NOT one to hold back her personality.

If you’re looking to become a copywriter, need copywriting advice, or are simply searching for someone that is obsessed with Cape Cod, give her a follow and her blog a read!

If you have a blog for your business, one of the best things you can do for yourself is be active on Pinterest, which is why marketing on Pinterest was on the top of my list for something to start this year!

Sarah is full of Pinterest knowledge and I’m obsessed with her approach! She doesn’t hold back on the education on her blog, so if marketing on Pinterest is also on your list, I encourage you to give her a follow and binge her blog here.

If you’ve ever heard someone talk about blogs, you’ve probably heard them mention SEO - search engine optimization. Even though I believe that blogging in your business is important for so many more reasons that *just* SEO, it’s still a big part of the puzzle, so to fully understand SEO and hone my skills, I always turn to The Duo Collective.

I first found them when another writer friend posted about them, shortly after I bought one of their SEO courses and then fell even more in love with what they’re all about after I heard them on Jenna Kutcher’s podcast.

In the episode, they confirmed my belief that BLOGS AREN’T DEAD and spoke specifically on their zone of genius, which is SEO! In addition to binging their blog on the reg, I also love to receive their newsletter and listen to their podcast weekly and I love that they turn each episode into a blog post. If you’re looking to learn more about SEO, look no further - they’re your girls. 👯‍♀️

Next up, we have ShowIt Brand and Web Designer, Kleist Creative who shows up as the ultimate source for all things creative, strategy, and personal branding.

Something I love about Sarah Kleist is that she’s a multi-hyphenate, so while she of course shows up as a genius for marketing and branding, she’s also actively pursuing her career as an actor, which makes her creativity so unique in all that she does.

Another Brand and Web Designer that I love – and yes, I’m biased because she’s a Writer’s Room girlie – is Lorin Creative! The way that Lorin shows up in the online space is so unique to her personality and I love the way that her brand stands out among the rest. And shocker – she helps others do the exact same thing.

While I of course love her branding and web design content, I specifically love Lorin’s take on sustainable productivity – if you’ve unsubscribed to hustle culture, but still value working hard and getting things done, 10/10 recommend following Lorin and diving into her productivity pillar on her blog!

Ever heard of a comedic copy coach? Well, now you have! Emelie with Pass The Queso is SO skilled in copywriting and messaging, but her approach is unlike any other copywriter I’ve ever seen.

She encourages the use of humor in all that she does and she refuses to buy into the belief that so many people often have about themselves… “I’m just not funny.” Instead, she believes that people simply need to find their funny and she helps you do just that through her quiz

And to be clear – the point isn’t just to use humor for the heck of it. It’s to infuse your messaging with your brand voice, which can (and should be) packed with YOUR humor style!

If you’re anything like me, you probably aren’t a big fan of numbers, analytics, or data. But as a marketing girlie, you also probably know that you really can’t hide from numbers, analytics, or data if you want to know what’s working in your business.

Admittedly, I’ve hid from numbers for far too long in my business. But I decided when I rebranded last fall and launched my new website, it was time to pay attention to the numbers and really understand what’s working… and what’s not.

But I knew I couldn’t do it alone, which is why I turned to Marketing Measurement Specialist Rebecca of Three Groves to get the job done! She has a way of making the sometimes confusing and overwhelming side of marketing feel not-so-scary, so if you’re anything like me, you will LOVE her content.

Another thing that’s easy for business owners to avoid? The legal side of things. 🫣 And honestly it makes sense – we don’t know what we don’t know, especially when we’re first starting out, but I’ve personally grown to learn that there are just some things that you shouldn’t ignore or procrastinate when it comes to building your business LEGALLY!

Luckily, The Boutique Lawyer makes this side of business super simple and easy to understand, PLUS offers a ton of content and resources to make sure you’re implementing exactly what you need to implement.

In addition to her blog content, I’m a big fan of her contract shop and the way she shows up on social!

And lastly, if you aren’t going to your biggest hype girl then who will?! Of course, I’m featuring myself on this list. 💁🏻‍♀️

I like to say that the Natty Writes blog is the ultimate blog about blogs because it’s true. Every week you’ll find a new blog post and 9 times out of 10, it will be something about blog or content marketing because I believe that it’s one of the most overlooked parts of business.

I encourage people to adopt a blogs first, socials second approach for marketing in order to make all of your other content creation 10x easier – here’s how it works!

And there ya have it – 10 binge-worthy blogs to add to your TBR list!

I’m curious – does your business have a blog you think I might love? Send it my way - I’d love to take a look! And if I love it enough, I just might add it to this list. 🥰
