BLOG GIRL SUMMER

A 3 Week MEMBERS-ONLY Summer Content Challenge

Creative? Slump.

Work? Chaotic.

Life? Busy.

Patience? Zero.

I’ve been hearing from a lot of people that they feel out of sorts in their business and they can’t seem to “get back on track.”

For some business feels slow and you’re having a hard time knowing what to do during this slow season.

For others, business is busy as ever, which is a GREAT thing, but it’s making it hard for you to juggle all the things you want to do for your business.

Wherever you fall, I get it – summer is naturally a season of go, go, go. It's a time of hustle and bustle and things just tend to move really quickly in this season. From vacations, to short work weeks (helloooo summer Fridays), and everything in between, it can often feel like you’re often jumping from one place to another and taking full advantage of that OOO.

This vibe of summer is often infused into your marketing, too. The perfect carousel to post on the feed? Can’t be bothered. An email every single week? HA, yeah right. And don’t even get me started on consistent long form content.

There’s just something about a sunny day that can really put a stint in your productivity – and I get it. A short work day ending in sipping a drink by the pool or on a patio sounds wayyyy better than sitting behind your computer for another hour to crank out a 1500 word blog post.

I hear you. But on the flipside of summer is my favorite season of all - FALL!

If blogs were a season, they’d be fall.

Much like the fall season, blogs allow you to approach your marketing with a slower (yet still effective) pace while knowing that your efforts are much more long lasting.

Blogs allow you to not feel so handcuffed to social media and instead give you a guide to approach social media in a way that feels fun and free versus forced.

Blog content also allows you to slow down and give DEEP value to your audience that's going to serve them way more than a 15 second Instagram Reel ever will.

And lastly, just like fall is a season of less planting and more harvesting, blogs are truly the thing that allow you to work smarter, not harder when it comes to content creation.

But here’s the thing: you can’t harvest what you don’t plant.

Summer is often a slow season for service providers because many of our ideal clients are living that hustle and bustle life I described above.

Come August, however, most people will get back into their routines and start re-visiting their goals for the year and make investments into their business.

How cool would it be if you did the work NOW – during the potential slow season of your business – to catapult the season just ahead?

So instead of using summer as an excuse NOT to do the work in your business that can often be overlooked, what if you did the work now and continued to reap the benefits of it later?

The best part? You can do this work poolside, sitting in a beach chair, or on your patio with your fave TOTD (treat of the day) in hand.

You don’t have to choose between soaking up the summer and doing the work that can lead to a massive business harvest in the fall.

You can do BOTH! Which is exactly what I want to help you do with BLOG GIRL SUMMER.

BLOG GIRL SUMMER

And I use the word “challenge” loosely, because Blog Girl Summer has a few specific priorities that are a mix of work AND play because THE GOAL IS TO HAVE FUN!

A 3 Week MEMBERS-ONLY Summer Content Challenge happening inside The Writer’s Room June 10-28.

✍🏼 Write in some capacity dailythis can be formal content writing (like a blog or email), mindset writing like morning pages or journaling, or creative writing for fun that never sees the light of day. The goal is to simply WRITE to get back into the rhythm of doing it consistently.

🎉 Do one non-work related activity daily that brings you joy watch a show, read a fiction book, bake something, go get your nails done, do a craft, etc

☀️ Get outsidethis summer we’re regulating our nervous system and that doesn’t happen from sitting inside behind a computer all day. I’ve always been a fan of hot girl walks, but if those aren’t your thing, that’s cool. Go outside and listen to the birds chirp in the morning, watch the sunset, play pickleball, or go have yourself a margarita at your local Mexican restaurant and request to sit outside. However you do it, get outside!

Do one “back burner” business task per weekif you’re anything like me, you have a list of things “you’ll get to eventually” in your business, but the odds of you ever actually getting to those things are probably pretty slim, especially when life or biz gets busy. In June, we’re going to check 3 of those tasks off your list! Doesn’t matter what they are, just matters that you do SOMETHING each week that you’ve been putting off.
👯‍♀️ Engage with The Writer’s Room community weeklythis group is meant to be a place of encouragement, inspiration, and motivation, but the only way that can happen is if we actually interact with each other! Each week, I encourage you to share what you’re working on, post your blogs for the group to read, ask questions, etc.

Hey, I’m Natty!

Blog and Email Writer for Business Owners that firmly believes that content creation in your business doesn’t have to be difficult and you CAN have a content plan that excites you.

And I want to show you how.

There’s no reason that content creation in your business should feel like pulling teeth.

You shouldn’t have to stare at a blinking cursor on a Google Doc each time you sit down to write, question if your content ideas are good enough, or procrastinate one of the most important tasks in your business.

There’s a better way!

Using what I know about blog and email marketing, The Writer’s Room is infused with the perfect mix of accountability, resources, and community so that you have everything you need to write the words that fuel your business on a consistent basis with confidence and ease.

The Writer’s Room FAQ’s:

  • Great question! We all experience writer’s block here and there. In The Writer’s Room, you’ll have access to n exclusive Writing Resource Vault that includes blog and email content ideas on an ongoing basis.

  • With your membership, you get the ability to submit ONE written blog or email PER WEEK to receive feedback before publishing.

  • In The Writer’s Room, you can expect bi-monthly live trainings from me centered around marketing, blogging, email marketing, and more, along with quarterly guest expert trainings featuring industry adjacent guests that I personally know, work with, and trust so you can apply their tips and strategies to your business as well!

  • Co-writing Wednesday’s are accountability calls where we’ll meet on Zoom for a dedicated hour of writing time. You’ll work on your content, I’ll work on mine! The calls are held bi-weekly at 2pm ET.

  • Great question! This was born out of my love of celebration, so I turned my simple process for planning your blog content 3 months in advance into a party that we do together.

The first one was hosted in June 2023 (here’s the replay if you want a sneak peek!) and since then I’ve constantly been asked if I’ll do them again. The answer is YES, but they’ll be exclusive to The Writer’s Room!

  • My hope is that when you join The Writer’s Room, you’ll never want to leave, but I understand that as your business evolves, your needs change as well.

If you desire to cancel your membership, you’ll need to submit a cancellation request at least 15 days prior to the next billing cycle to avoid your next charge.

Want to chat before you join? I’m all ears!
